A distinguished panel of industry experts selected these executives for their leadership in information security from among 27 nominees across the southeast. The five finalists were highlighted at an award gala at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia during the evening of March 24, 2005.

The ISE Southeast Nominees were evaluated based on their effectiveness in managing internal security organizations, mentoring and motivating staff members and developing innovative security strategies and solutions to meet business challenges. The judges met in Atlanta, Georgia on February 1, 2005 to vote on the five finalists.
