ATLANTA, Ga., August 9, 2006 - Executive Alliance, creator and provider of premium leadership-recognition forums, announced today the Judges Panel for the second annual Information Security Executive (ISE) of the Year Tri-State Award 2006. The ISE Tri-State Award™ honors the achievements of today's information security leaders in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey.

The judges will consider new nomination criteria that have been expanded in light of the growing and diversified role of Chief Information Security Officers and Chief Security Officers. The award will be presented to a chief security officer or an executive in an equivalent position who demonstrates outstanding leadership within the expanded criteria of excellence in risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy and/or information/network security.

As with the other regional ISE programs, the ISE Tri-State Judges Panel consists of industry veterans that include ISE Alumni who are previous winners, finalists and nominees. The ISE Tri-State Judges Panel includes:

The judges will meet privately to select five finalists and a winner; the results of their evaluation will be revealed at a gala celebration to be held at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York City on Thursday evening, October 26, 2006

Since the ISE Tri-State Award recognizes best practices that transcend industry and technology boundaries, the judges will consider nominations from security executives in all private and public companies, as well as government agencies and academic institutions.
