ATLANTA, Ga., September 12, 2006 - Executive Alliance, creator and provider of premium leadership-recognition forums, announced today the nominees for the second annual Information Security Executive (ISE) of the Year Tri-State Award 2006. The ISE Tri-State Award™ honors the achievements of today's information security leaders in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey and will be presented at a gala awards ceremony on the evening of October 26 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York City.

The award will be presented to a chief security officer or an executive in an equivalent position who demonstrates outstanding leadership and excellence in risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy and/or information/network security.

Five finalists and a winner will be selected by a panel of Industry experts many of whom are ISE alumni, having been past nominees, finalists and winners. Utilizing criteria including effectiveness in leading information security organizations, developing innovative solutions to meet business challenges, and mentoring and motivating staff members, the judges will vote to determine the results which will not be revealed until the awards ceremony on October 26.
