The ISE Awards Program Series has been recognized as the industry leader in showcasing and giving visibility to executives and their teams in the information security industry across the U.S, and internationally in Canada and Europe. During the program, our ISE nominees and project teams receive VIP treatment and are showcased during the business portions of the one or two-day programs and on stage during the evening awards gala. Other recognition given to the nominees are through press releases that are issued for every award program, inclusion on our website, and our award promotion and articles in our media partners magazines such as InformationWeek and Infosecurity Magazine.
The nomination process consists of submitting a completed nomination form for the “Executive of the Year” and/or the “Project of the Year” along with a hi-res photo and bio (Executive of the Year) or a company/organization logo (Project of the Year) along with the nomination fee. In certain instances, the nomination fee can be waived. A nomination can be submitted by an executive or project team on their own behalf, by a boss, employee, peer, or a technology partner. In addition to the questions that are to be completed for evaluation by the judges, the nomination form contains information on the history of the awards, judging process, award criteria, and next steps.
The nominations are screened in advance for completeness, formatted (contact data is removed), and sent to our panel of ISE Judges for review and scoring. The panel of judges typically consists of previous finalists and winners of the ISE Awards. The Judge have the final approval in determining whether an executive or project team is qualified to participate as a nominee at either the regional or national level. After the Judges review the nominations, they meet in person to discuss the nominations, debate their scores, and ultimately determine the finalists and winners. The finalists and winners are not announced publicly until the evening of the awards.
Every year the nomination form is reviewed with the judges to determine if questions need to be changed, deleted or new ones included. The 2009 nomination form incorporates their feedback and provides them with the data they need to be able to make an evaluation. If you have any questions about the nomination process or form, please call us at 404-982-8562 as we want this to be a great experience.
