Keynote Topic: Consumerization of IT - New Security Challenges Ahead

IT Consumerization is the migration and adoption of consumer products and technologies into the enterprise world and is increasing in speed and complexity. Gartner called it in 2005 the most significant trend affecting IT over the next 10 years, but also called it in 2007 one of the most significant threats to enterprise security.

What new challenges do Iphones, Facebook, Google Desktop, Skype, Bittorrent, Social Networks, IM, Public Webmail Services, Online Games, Virtual Worlds, Wikis and Blogs pose? We cannot eliminate the use of these technologies - it is impossible and not practical; however, the further adoption of consumer technologies in the enterprise world can lead to blurred lines between business and private use.

Join Nils Puhlmann for this important keynote on how the security community must prepare for and manage the additional risks created by consumer technologies.
