Keynote Topic: Challenges Facing the CISO of the Future

The ISE Mid-Atlantic day two keynote will provide an in depth look at the challenges facing tomorrow’s CISO based on insight from Chris Tignor, the Chief Information Security Officer of Capital One, and survey feedback from this year's ISE Mid-Atlantic nominees. In Chris' keynote, he will address the impact of the following on tomorrow’s leader:

  • Current economic climate
  • Increased complexity of the CISOs IT portfolio
  • Increased demands for faster integration into business units
  • Emerging drivers that will influence the CISO position

Join Chris as he shares his perspective on the skill sets now required to be an exceptional CISO and the qualities future leaders will need as they face increasing demands from their senior management, employees, customers and shareholders.

For our second keynote, Bob Lentz Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Information and Identity Assurance, the U.S. Department of Defense, will address the impact of the following on tomorrow's leader:
One of the nation's leading government experts on cyber security will provide an update on Defense Department and federal government initiatives to secure cyberspace. Addressing topics such as information assurance, product and supply chain security, and identity assurance, the Defense Department's chief information risk officer will draw on eight years of experience in that role while he discusses current and emerging cyber policies and priorities at the Pentagon.
