The Executive Alliance Leadership Summit Featuring the ISE West Awards 2009 will take place on Thursday and Friday, October 8 - 9, 2009 at the Westin San Francisco Market Street in San Francisco, California. The ISE West Awards will be held in conjunction with a two day Leadership Summit which includes keynote speakers, interactive roundtables moderated by the CISOs and VPs of participating companies, and hot topic panel discussions. The two day program offers the opportunity to meet with peers and leading information security and IT executives from across the region to discuss and share insights into today's issues and solutions.
The ISE West Awards 2009 will be held on Thursday evening, October 8, 2009, and will recognize the information security executives and their teams who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy, and network security. The nominees represent the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. During the evening awards, all qualified nominees, finalists and winners are recognized and celebrated for their achievements and accomplishments.
The Call for Nominations opens Wednesday, June 8, 2009 for the ISE West "Executive of the Year" and also the "Project of the Year".
The Information Security "Executive of the Year" Awards 2009 recognizes the individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the field of information security in the past 12 months. Awarded to a chief security officer or an executive in an equivalent position, the ISE Award 2009 honors exemplary achievement and excellence in risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy and network security. These pivotal members of the technology community play instrumental roles in ensuring the safety and security of their organizations.
The Information Security "Project of the Year" Awards 2009 recognizes a project completed in the past 12-18 months that has had an impact on an organizationfs risk management or information security posture. This award was introduced in 2008 and has been a tremendous success as this award recognizes the team behind the work and brings to light their successful accomplishments.
