While we have had wonderful success with our Information Security Executive (ISE) of the Year Award Programs across the U.S, unfortunately this year it appears the western region has been hit the hardest in this economic climate. We have received feedback from both potential nominees and sponsors that due to budget constraints they are not able to participate in the ISE West program this year.

After careful review and input from trusted advisors, Executive Alliance has made the hard decision to cancel the ISE West Award Program for 2009 that was to be held October 8-9th in San Francisco. We as a team at Executive Alliance are very disappointed as we know everyone has worked hard to try to make it happen which includes our existing nominees and sponsors. Executive Alliance has set the bar high for these award programs and we always want to ensure that we deliver a great VIP experience for our nominees and their teams, sponsors, judges and guests and unfortunately we have come to the realization that for this program, we would not be able to deliver on expectations.

While cancelling ISE West is a major disappointment, we are excited about our upcoming ISE North America Awards and hope you will consider being a nominee, nominating a peer, or a team member for this prestigious two day program and awards to be held in Washington DC, October 26th - 27th.
