Reservations

The Executive Alliance special rate is $289.00 (Single or Double) and can be used for Wednesday, September 17 through Friday, September 19. There are a limited number of rooms available, so be sure to book early! The deadline for room discount has been extended to August 22, 2008, but please act now. Rooms are almost sold out!

Location and Parking

Centrally located downtown, adjacent to the Financial District, the Palace is walking distance to Union Square, the Cable Cars, the Embarcadero, Chinatown, the Moscone Convention Center, Pac Bell Park, Sony Metreon, Yerba Buena Park, SF Museum of Modern Art, and the Theater District.

Transportation such as shuttle service, car rental and limousine service can be arranged through the Concierge. Valet parking is available and the Palace Garage is conveniently located across the street from the main entrance of the hotel. San Francisco and Oakland International Airports are both just fifteen miles from the hotel. The subway, known as BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit), stops at Montgomery Station located in front of the hotel. In addition, cable cars offer a unique way to explore the city and are within easy walking distance of the hotel.

*Exit Montgomery Street Exit and come up escalator on left side. The hotel will be directly in front of you on the corner of New Montgomery and Market.

Palace Hotel Transportation Options

Allow us to arrange transportation to and from the airports or train stations. Choose between our deluxe shuttle service or have our concierge book a private car or limousine for you. Contact our concierge for assistance at (415) 546-5006.

Shuttle Service:

To and from San Francisco International Airport - $15.
To and from Oakland International Airport - $29.

Private Transportation:

Rates for private cars and limousines will vary, depending on number of passengers, luggage, destination and time. Allow our concierge to take care of all transportation details.

From San Francisco International Airport

We recommend that you fly into San Francisco International Airport (Code SFO), which is an approximate 25-minute drive away from the hotel. The taxi cost for transportation to the hotel is $40-60.

For guests who wish to take the train, the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) train runs between SFO and San Francisco every 15 minutes. Simply board the Dublin/Pleasanton train at the BART station. Exit the train at the Montgomery Street Station. The Palace Hotel is located at the corner of Market and New Montgomery Street, directly across from the train station. The total cost is $6. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes.

From Oakland International Airport

For an equally convenient alternative, we recommend that guests fly into the Oakland International Airport (Code OAK), which is an approximate 35-minute drive away from the hotel. The taxi cost for transportation to the hotel is $50-65.

From North Highway 101, Golden Gate Bridge

• Take Highway 101 South over the Golden Gate Bridge (must pay toll)
• Exit Lombard St.
• Lombard St. to Van Ness Ave.
• Right on Van Ness Ave.
• Left on Bush St.
• Right on Montgomery St.
• Montgomery St. will cross Market St. and become New Montgomery St.
• The Palace is on the right side at #2 New Montgomery St.

From East Interstate 80, Bay Bridge

• Take I-80 West over the Bay Bridge (must pay toll)
• Exit Fremont St., first exit on the right side
• Left on Howard St., first intersection on Fremont St.
• Right on Third St.
• Right on Market St.
• Right on New Montgomery St.
• The Palace is on the right side at #2 New Montgomery St.

From South Highway 101 & San Francisco International Airport

• Take Highway 101 North towards I-80/Bay Bridge
• Exit Fourth St. off I-80 (last S.F. exit)
• Exit will bring you to Bryant St., stay two left lanes
• Take Bryant St. one block to Third St.
• Left on Third St.
• Right on Market St.
• Right on New Montgomery St.
• The Palace is on the right side at #2 New Montgomery St.

From South Highway 280 San Jose

• Take Highway 280 North to the end, which is King St.
• Follow King St. to Third St.
• Left on Third St.
• Right on Market St.
• Right on New Montgomery St.
• The Palace is on the right side at #2 New Montgomery St.
