ISE AwardThe ISE West Awards 2008 recognizes the individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the field of information security. Awarded to chief security officers, or executives in equivalent positions, the ISE West Awards 2008 honors exemplary achievement and excellence in managing enterprise-wide Internet, wireless and network security systems. These pivotal members of the technology community play instrumental roles in ensuring the safety and security of the corporate enterprise and that of the nation. This award applauds the information security pioneers whom have made a lasting contribution to the business community and economy.

In 2008, a new "Project Award" has been added, the Information Security Project of the Year West Awards. Focusing on a project completed in the past 12-18 months that has had an impact to an organization's risk management or information security posture, this award brings to light the team behind the work.

Nominees and Project teams for the ISE West Awards will have the opportunity to network with fellow security professionals and executive peers. The award gala will be a premiere forum to showcase the nominees’ achievements as well as those of his/her organization. Nominees will gain visibility both personally and professionally as pioneers in the growing security industry.
